Ludwig Van “Submission Series”.

August 10, 2014

For the grappling nerd in all of us – I’m proud to reintroduce the “Submission Series” prints and t-shirts! INspired by my passion for all things wrestling/grappling/jiu-jitsu/judo – what you see here is based on my experience over the many years on the mat. “Have fun with it!”. The prints are 13″ x 19″ Giclée prints printed on museum quality archival paper and this is the second edition (of 25). But what about the t-shirts! GET THEM HERE direct from our partnership with long-time cohorts Digital Gravel. Digital Gravel has been bringing you fresh new gear since the late 90′s! and they are the proverbial “OG’s” in the game. If you OR somebody you know is a #Jiu-Jitsu nerd – DON’T SLEEP! They will not last for long!

Ludwig Van X Gourmet…lost fabric

September 28, 2013

This is a story about original deadstock “mitchell leaf” camo circa 1970. What you see below is how it looked in the first samples of the now collectible collaboration: “Ludwig Van X Gourmet” – Utility Project. Check the upper…see that camo detail? – well, the bummer is that it was ‘lost’ when it was shipped to the manufacturing facility…needless to say at $45USD per yd/ this made my heart drop when i heard the news…But – you can enjoy them here. Enjoy.

Gourmet & LUDWIG VAN “Utility Project”: Part 1

February 7, 2013

We are proud to introduce the first part of the “Utility Project” collaboration with Los Angeles based Gourmet Footwear.

The first half of the “Utility Project” is dubbed DDR.  The DDR project features original dead-stock “Raindrop Camouflage” (German Military), designed in the Deutsche Demokratische Republik aka DDR.  It dates back to the late 1960′s and was in service as soldier field uniforms.

As the undisputed KING’s of Dead-Stock vintage (LUDWIG VAN) and repurposing it into compelling product, we will never stop short of exceeding your expectations. Stay tuned for more in depth info on this exclusive release.
