Checked out the Janette Beckman show last nite at Project Space, and was really impressed by the images of the culture I grew up with. One of the photos that didn’t make the cut for the show but deserves display is one my favorites…Michael Jonzun, the Jonzun Crew.
Good friend and former studio mate Jerome Mage has been working arduously over the last year on the MARCH LA.B. The entire collection is a real man’s man sort of watch…it’s almost like the real version of “the most interesting man in the world” campaign came to life in the form of a timepiece. My personal favorite is the JC series…actually it may be the AM series with the real black stingray band…amazing. Give a look here. Bravo to Dimitri Coste, (photographer) the photos for the lookbook and PR campaign really capture that feeling of stepping off of an Air France flight in LA or vice-versa…it’s kind of like having a slight hang-over from the most amazing social event or just meeting a woman in Paris and staying up til’ dawn and then having to get back for business…you get the idea.
I’d like to introduce the LUDWIG Fall 2010 “phantom” collection. There was a lot of hard work and dedication that went into the development of this season, and it would be a shame not to share thanks here in this forum to those who made it possible. Ludwig Inc., “W”, “R”, “H”, “M”, 722 Figueroa, Charlie, Muralitharon, KAS, Oscar, Jose, Richie, Dave, and last but not least, myself. - even though this collection would never see the light of day, it lives here in spirit. Change is good, and times they are a changin’, stay tuned for news and announcements regarding the next chapter in the life of LUDWIG VAN the man - enjoy.

I’m always on the lookout for fresh inspiration for the letter “L” since that is the first letter of “Ludwig Van”…while trolling around this am on TYPO-GRAPHICAL I found these 2 fresh “L’s”…they are dope.
