Magic? - not. It’s Le New Black…virtual trade-shows are here, get used to it.
Mage Threat
My good friend and colleague Jerome Mage has recently completed some really nice work with Skullcandy. Jerome is also working on a top secret wrist watch project that will make its debut in March, don’t sleep…more after the jump with this one. With this project and another one in the works for Levi’s Originals, what’s next? Meanwhile get a look at these nice phones, the tan and leather ones are Jay-Z endorsed.
A8 gets SATNAV Google Earth system
This is going to be rad. I’ll have to save my pennies for this one.
By using Google Earth based navigation, drivers will get higher performance graphics that will show 3D buildings, landscapes as well as gradients and terrain modeling.

Gone

New York City finally is closing down the Brooklyn Banks. They’re using the area for storage while restoring the bridge until 2014. Who knows if it will ever be the same. A true tragedy.
Tok Dad checks in…
Blood brother Bill Tocco checks in today with this insane blast from the past photo of him ripping Endless Summer ( Detroit ) –looks like it’s late 70’s here. Check the style…Hawk board, Chucks, it is a real classic photo. For those of you who remember, Bill Tocco was the #1 AM vert skateboarder in 1989, and he used to crush his competition with fierce endurance, blazing speed, and boosting stylish huge airs. Endless Summer was the best, I remember winning the NBL regionals there for 13X class BMX… and then I quit to start skating. I have been meaning to put together a special project t-shirt series featuring Tok Dads art for LUDWIG, and if I get my shit together I’ll make it happen soon. I hear Danforth is in town, I’ll have to check him out too. -Word.
MashKulture “Dirty Third” Anniversary Party

RIP Sin Egelja.
One of the best vert/skate photogs. has passed. RIP Sin, you will be missed.
Esquivel Shoes Sales Event

Check out this event. These guys make great custom shoes right here in LA and are also behind the GUILD show in Las Vegas, one of the best run shows to check out premium brands. Ask for Jason and tell him I sent you. It’s worth a couple of beers to me so make sure you go…
Shwarma Carts…mmmmmmmmm
Chris, Cody and I are heading to NYC for a sales trip tonight and I haven’t been back for awhile. I am pretty excited to get back to the big city even though it’s going to be cold out.
In Los Angeles we have the best taco trucks in the world, and in NY I love the Shwarma carts in Queens. I can’t wait to hit the King of Falafel & Shwarma cart on 30th and Broadway in Queens.
