Meet Ryan Donovan. We are proud to introduce him as an “official” LUDWIG brand representative, welcome to the “DROOG’S CLUB”! Ryan is 17yrs. old and is from Huntington Beach CA. He has been skating since he was 10 and it shows. We get a lot of “sponsor me” video’s from dudes, but Ryan’s clean style and smooth skating really stood out. Stay tuned for more from Ryan. Big ups man, another package is in the mail, represent with pride!
Looking the part of a Droog, olde tyme cyclist from the Griffith Park Ride era and overall pirate Scott Van Der Kolk sends us this picture sporting a Ludwig hat. He says he’s fat and 40 like me so will be joining me on our weekly rides from the Kim Sing Theatre on Sunday’s at 9am. Shift-levers and Lycra required.
This post is long overdue. I was supposed to post this last week but things around here got way to hectic. Let me give you a little back story. Nick Ramirez is the a 4-star general in the ranks of LUDWIG fans. Nick emailed one day about a shirt he found on the LUDWIG on-line shop and had a few questions about fit and sizing etc. Turns out after looking thru some of our orders, Nick had been ordering quite a few things, and I was wondering what’s up with this guy? Anyhow, after a few email exchanges he said he was going to the Dodger game ( the first game back for Mannywood ) and I asked him to take some photos and we would post on the blog, and pay homage to Nick Ramirez,…Nick has inspired a new section on the LUDWIG Blog called “DROOGS CLUB”. It’s for fans and friends of LUDWIG to send us letters, photos, whatever to post on the blog, thanks Nick! - read below.
(From Nick Ramirez) - I snapped some quick random pics while in the car and walking around…got a few decent shots of the shop on the way to the game. That’s actually a reason I got especially interested in you guys at first, I’ve been passing the Kim Sing Theatre on my way to the stadium all my life. I always wondered how the Theatre looked when in operation, then all of a sudden it got modernized and orange, I was like, huh??? What’s that?!? Looks cool!
Anyways, the game was a bummer, they came out flat after the all-star game, but Dodger games are about family/friends/friends of friends and our beautiful city. Pick whichever pics you want to put up; the older lady is my Moms, I’m the dude who hasn’t shaved in a week, the other kids are Jon Weisberg (of From First to Last fame…new band is City Archaic) and his girlfriend. I wore the Mcqueen jacket, NFYB tee, and Danno jeans to show off how big of a mark I am for you guys.
