Mike and Jesse are very accomplished riders and those of you in the BMX world know them well…both used to ride for the now defunct MOSH BMX -R.I.P. Check the “Baseball Crew” Mike is sporting too! there is ONE RED MEDIUM LEFT for the last lucky customer -word.
I may have posted something by Mac motorcycles before, but this deserves and encore. These bikes are so fucking awesome they make me drool. Check the style, lines, and simplicity…Here is the “brief” as re-posted from the Mac site:
• Simple to maintain.
• Nothing surplus-to-requirements.
• Chopper and bobber references/details.
• The lines of a rigid frame but with suspension.
• Use a Buell ‘Blast’ motor and exploit its shape.
• Harley posture, flat-tracker manners, Ducati handling.
• Exploit the power-to-weight ratio of a 500cc single in a lightweight chassis.
• A return to the spirit of motorcycling - the journey is the experience / story.
I want one…they say if it’s got tits or tires it’s going to give you problems. I’ll take my lumps.

Looking the part of a Droog, olde tyme cyclist from the Griffith Park Ride era and overall pirate Scott Van Der Kolk sends us this picture sporting a Ludwig hat. He says he’s fat and 40 like me so will be joining me on our weekly rides from the Kim Sing Theatre on Sunday’s at 9am. Shift-levers and Lycra required.
