Ruth Seymour, who built KCRW into a National Public Radio power, sent a letter to radio station staffers saying she will retire at the end of February. She has run the station based at Santa Monica College since 1977. She is an icon, and will me missed. She also is a huge Classical music fan, and LUDWIG thanks her for her incredible contribution to Radio. Here’s to you Ruth, kiss the joy as it flies.

LUDWIG was invited to participate in SXSW this year and nothing is going to make the trip mo-betta, than seeing the world premiere of “LEMMY” -the movie. I used to share office space with Motorhead’s manager, and the drummer “Micky D” used to come in through the hallway all the time asking if I was Clive. I can’t wait, see you at the Bijou!

I’m a hardcore motor-head. I was born in Detroit and I have owned over 20 cars so far. I have had muscle cars, sports cars, luxury cars, etc…today I am driving a 1993 Toyota Camry wagon (4cyl)…It has been one of the best cars that I have ever owned. With 185,000 mi. and still going strong. My other car is a 1965 Ford Mustang GT-350.

Wallid ( Wal-eegy ) Ismail. I was just thinking about Wallid today, so I decided to post this video interview with the Professor (Stephen Quadros). I have had the pleasure of training with Wallid back in the older rAw days, and hanging out with him socially. One thing I can say about him is that he is a very nice person, and man who says what he means, and means what he says. There are a ton of videos on line of Wallid, bjj, ‘vale-tudo’ and pride fights, check them out, he is the real deal. Here’s to you Wallid!
