5 things I love (to hate) about the college party scene.
Maybe it’s cause I’m about to start my senior year (oh shit I’m old!), maybe it’s cause I’m just an elitist or maybe I’m just fed up with the college scene in general, but wow, have I had enough. My roommates and I went out to the bars in Westwood the other night and here’s a list of things that I’ve noticed about the college party scene:
1. If you don’t know how to play beer pong, flip cup, and king’s cup, you are a social failure.
2. Party playlists currently must include: Keri Hilson’s Knock You Down, Black Eyed Peas’ I’ve Got A Feeling and Boom Boom Pow, and any and every Lady Gaga Song.
3. People actually buy and drink Milwaukee’s Best.
4. Frat boys and Sorority girls that think they’re the shit just because they’re in the Greek system.
5. College bars where sweats and sandals are appropriate and old creepy men hang out and hit on college girls.
Look forward to more “5 things I love (to hate) about the college________.”
I with you on #2 for the basic reason that it’s mindless noise in any setting, be it a college bar or a doctors office…i can’t stand those songs! #3 could be offensive to head from Milwaukee…but i agree there too. My bottom line is Bud and it’s just cuz i’m broke right now…don’t hate on the Greeks, they invented ‘everything’…#5, I’ll tell Willard to step up his style a bit and stop wearing sweats while out on the town. Keep it coming, it’s interesting reading.
