Where The Wild Things Are

November 18, 2008

There’s been tons of drama lately over Spike Jonze’s upcoming live action movie based on one of the amazingly creative children’s story books written of all time, “Where The Wild Things Are.” I’m personally siked because Spike has directed some of the dopest skate videos of all time. There has been word though that this project was a failure to the studio’s target audience. In a test screening, it was rumored that families were walking out of the movie theater, because their children were terrified of the monsters… Sounds rad to me. Anyway, Warner Bros. is thinking about reshooting the entire 75 million dollar movie to make it more “kid-friendly.” Hopefully whatever happens with the final cut, we will get to see the original. Here’s a clip of some test footage from the movie.

TOK DAD T-shirt series coming soon…

November 14, 2008

This is my good friend Bill Tocco. Those of you in the Skateboard world may remember him as “Taco” he won the Am National vert championships at the Pride Pavilion in AZ in the late 80’s. He was pro for G&S, and had models on Brand X and G&S. Also sponsored by Gullwing, Airwalk, and Town and Country i think…anyhow we used to live together and skate together back in the late 80’s /early 90’s. He is a really interesting artist and will be featured in the Ludwig Holiday-09 collection. As you can see he still rips hard, and still skates at speed. Stay tuned for more info. Photos by Greg Fadell who is another friend from D-town, he is also a Slalom champion

Yeah Bill.
