It may be a small run, in limited supply to a far-away shop…but limited is always better. At least you know when you come up on some LUDWIG VAN that not every Thom, Rick, and Harry are going to have it also.
Today I finished this air-brush and ink art for my good buddy George. He is really into the Sailor Jerry look/feel hence the direct relation. If you’ve had the chance to check out George’s work with RIVI Denim then you know he’s a real craftsman as well as a bona-fide Z-BOY. Soon to come are some really amazing leather/canvas bags and accessories for RIVI GOODS – Also a unique LUDWIG x RIVI Goods offering is in the works…stay tuned.
Just cracked my new issue of Lodown Mag today. Nobody does a better job of Skate, Fashion and Art in one form. This issue features one of my favorite (albeit insane) artists Toshio Saeki.
I’ve been meaning to post this collage of photos for a while. What struck me about this selection of photos when I first came across them at Born Loser MC, was that whomever selected these images for the most part curated them from the eye of somebody my age…a child product of the 80′s…it’s all there, Bandit, Kong, Lerch, KISS, Walking Tall, Billy Jack…even the crying Indian, remember that commercial? Anyway hope ya enjoy it. Check out Born Loser MC as well if your into motorsickles. Mike (the other Mike D.) does a stellar job on the soundtrack as well.
Version one of the LUDWIG VAN “Clockwork” screenprint. Go to the LUDWIG VAN Shop to pick up the limited edition print.
