I saw this video of Julia Dales a long time ago, and I was blown away by her madd skilz, so I got in touch with her and sent her some LUDWIG gear, here was her response.

I got the clothing today and I absolutely love it so thank you so much. When I get a second to make another video I’ll sport one of your shirts. Thank you and all the best with your business!!”
Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Kim Sing Theatre for the Grab Bag Party we hosted on Thursday July 16th. If you were unable to make it, you missed out on a great party and eventful night. At the party you had a chance to pick yourself up a Grag Bag which consisted of 3 Ludwig T-shirts for only $25 (you can still pick up one at the Ludwig Flagship Store) while enjoying free beer. As the intern for Ludwig it was one of my few responsibilities to organize this party. I came up with the idea that we should introduce the grab bag and use the party to promote it.
I had alot of friends that made it out to the party to celebrate my birthday and also to pick themselves up a grab bag.
Mai-Lan stressed out like usual.
Good friends and Ludwig Fans, Camrun and Hamilton.
The infamous Warm Brew. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
Ever wonder how a champion Mixed Martial Artist trains for one of (what could have been) the biggest MMA fights in history? Take a look at these photos from Fedors training camp in Stary Oskol, Russia. This place doesn’t look like the Russia portrayed in the media or what you think of when thinking of the frozen tundra…this place looks amazing. I want to go! Hopefully we will see him fighting soon, rumor is very soon. Enjoy these photos on the meantime, courtesy of M1 Global.
check out the coach in the sandals...rad.
looks like there is surf in the background!
practicing keeping his hands up. good idea.
shadow boxing, while young Fedor's to be look on.
a game of hoops is on deck after you get knocked out. is this summer camp?
Looking the part of a Droog, olde tyme cyclist from the Griffith Park Ride era and overall pirate Scott Van Der Kolk sends us this picture sporting a Ludwig hat. He says he’s fat and 40 like me so will be joining me on our weekly rides from the Kim Sing Theatre on Sunday’s at 9am. Shift-levers and Lycra required.
This post is long overdue. I was supposed to post this last week but things around here got way to hectic. Let me give you a little back story. Nick Ramirez is the a 4-star general in the ranks of LUDWIG fans. Nick emailed one day about a shirt he found on the LUDWIG on-line shop and had a few questions about fit and sizing etc. Turns out after looking thru some of our orders, Nick had been ordering quite a few things, and I was wondering what’s up with this guy? Anyhow, after a few email exchanges he said he was going to the Dodger game ( the first game back for Mannywood ) and I asked him to take some photos and we would post on the blog, and pay homage to Nick Ramirez,…Nick has inspired a new section on the LUDWIG Blog called “DROOGS CLUB”. It’s for fans and friends of LUDWIG to send us letters, photos, whatever to post on the blog, thanks Nick! – read below.
(From Nick Ramirez) – I snapped some quick random pics while in the car and walking around…got a few decent shots of the shop on the way to the game. That’s actually a reason I got especially interested in you guys at first, I’ve been passing the Kim Sing Theatre on my way to the stadium all my life. I always wondered how the Theatre looked when in operation, then all of a sudden it got modernized and orange, I was like, huh??? What’s that?!? Looks cool!
Anyways, the game was a bummer, they came out flat after the all-star game, but Dodger games are about family/friends/friends of friends and our beautiful city. Pick whichever pics you want to put up; the older lady is my Moms, I’m the dude who hasn’t shaved in a week, the other kids are Jon Weisberg (of From First to Last fame…new band is City Archaic) and his girlfriend. I wore the Mcqueen jacket, NFYB tee, and Danno jeans to show off how big of a mark I am for you guys.
To continue the theme of influential figures and black and white photos that we have going on the blog, here is a post about Richard Avedon. I first discovered who Richard Avedon was when I was in Paris last fall. It was raining and our daily excursion was suppose to be to La Grande Mosquee, but instead we headed over to Musée du Jeu de Paume where there was an Avedon exhibit. Anyways, I was at Opening Ceremony in LA last weekend and came across a Richard Avedon book. Richard Avedon is one of the greatest fashion photographers ever. In 1946 he started taking photos for Vogue and Life, and eventually became Harper Bazaar’s go-to man. Outside of fashion, he also documented major historical events and figures like the Vietnam War, Marilyn Monroe, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, various U.S. Presidents, etc. His legendary work should definitely be checked out!
This quote is attributed to Sir Henry Royce as well as the Gucci family, and with good reason. The heritage and quality of these two brands is unquestionable. Equally unquestionable is the quality of the “Miller” tank top that we now have for sale at the LUDWIG SHOP as part of the Summer 09 offerings…upon close inspection you will find that this tank is not just another tank-top. Made with authentic vintage, Indigo slub jersey for the shell, lined with the softest, most luxurious supima cotton you have ever laid your hands on, this is one of those items you will wear over and over because of it’s timeless design. Then consider the construction. This is no easy task. Single needle sandwich construction and significant hand time go into assembling this garment so that the edges and seams of the neck and the arm holes are all perfect and clean. It looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside. To finish this piece we applied a vintage style wash so that it feels like your favorite article of clothing. I dare you to find another company among the so-called “lifestyle” or “mens contemporary” set that can offer you this type of quality and construction at this price ($45.00!). It just will not happen.
This type of piece would retail for well over $100.00 with a known brand name. Only LUDWIG is putting out this quality and style of garment. No need to “name-names” we are doing it better than anybody right now. That’s right, I said it. Pay a visit to the nearest select shop and look closely at what they carry, how it’s made, and what it retails for, you will not find an article of clothing as nicely produced, made in the US, and as comfortable as this tank top, period. Visit the LUDWIG SHOP and buy yours today, because once they are sold out, they will not return.
Found a collection of excellent photos of real men with style accompanied by some references to select pieces for your wardrobe. Nerd Boyfriend might be a site for chicks who dig nerds, I’m not sure, but take it from me (a nerd), I say check it out here. Below are some of my faves!
